This video was filmed in 1984. One the famous goggles is owned by Craig Hopkins the president of the SRV Fan Club and was displayed at the Stevie Ray Vaughan museum. The custom-made Hamiltone guitar with the "Stevie Ray Vaughan" inlays on the neck was given to Stevie by Jim Hamilton back in '84. The original EMG pickups were replaced later because they were ruined by blowing water on the guitar during the video shoot.

This version of Superstition was recorded in 1986 at the Dallas Starfest. Notice all the superstitious signs on this video, like broken mirror, good luck horseshoe falling, Stevie's show on Friday 13, walking on a crack and under the ladder and of course the black cat. Stevie Wonder, original writer of the song makes a cameo at the end. The original idea was to have Stevie kiss a rabbit's foot at the end, but he chose instead to kiss his guitar saying it was his "good luck charm."
